Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded or diced
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded, divided
  • ½ cup cooked turkey bacon crumbled (substitute for pork bacon)
  • ¼ cup green onions chopped, for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, milk, and ranch seasoning mix. Whisk until smooth and well combined.
  3. Stir in the cooked chicken and half of the shredded cheddar cheese into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese and the crumbled turkey bacon over the top of the casserole.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until bubbly and the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions, if desired, before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of garlic powder or a handful of cooked broccoli florets to the mixture. This casserole can also be prepped ahead and refrigerated, then baked when ready to serve.
