Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsalted butter melted
  • 1.5 cups Granulated sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 2.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 3 medium Apples crisp variety, peeled and chopped
  • 0.5 cup Caramel sauce store-bought or homemade, plus extra for drizzling

Method

  1. 1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. 2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth and glossy, about 2 minutes.
  3. 3. Add Eggs and Vanilla: Whisk in the eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. 4. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together flour and baking powder. Gradually fold into the wet mixture until just combined — do not overmix.
  5. 5. Add Apples: Gently fold in chopped apples, distributing evenly throughout the batter.
  6. 6. Bake: Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. 7. Add Caramel: While still warm, drizzle caramel sauce over the blondies to allow it to soak into the surface.
  8. 8. Cool and Serve: Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with extra caramel drizzle for a decadent finish.

Notes

For added indulgence, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a sprinkle of sea salt. Store leftover blondies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to 5 days.
