Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch Unbaked pie crust
  • 1 cup Pecans chopped
  • 1 cup Sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 0.25 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cup Unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt

Method

  1. 1. Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the unbaked pie crust into a deep-dish pie pan and set aside.
  2. 2. Make the filling: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, eggs, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until smooth and well combined.
  3. 3. Add the pecans: Stir in the chopped pecans until evenly distributed throughout the filling.
  4. 4. Fill and bake: Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust and spread evenly. Bake for 50–55 minutes, or until the center is slightly jiggly but the edges are set.
  5. 5. Cool and serve: Remove from the oven and let the pie cool completely on a wire rack before slicing. Serve plain or with a dollop of whipped cream.

Notes

For an extra crunch, lightly toast the pecans before adding them to the filling. This pie tastes even better the next day as the flavors meld together.
