Method
- 1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- 2. Cook Pasta: Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 3. Make Sauce: In a large bowl, whisk together softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning mix, and milk until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- 4. Combine: Stir in the cooked chicken, crumbled bacon (reserving some for topping), 1 ½ cups cheddar cheese, and optional sautéed onions. Add the cooked pasta and toss until evenly coated.
- 5. Assemble: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with remaining cheese and bacon.
- 6. Bake: Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 7. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm for the ultimate creamy, cheesy comfort meal.
Notes
For a little kick, add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes or a drizzle of buffalo sauce before baking. You can also use mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese for a melty twist.
