- Step 1: Boil penne pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Step 2: Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Add chicken, season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, and sauté until cooked through. Transfer chicken to a plate.
- Step 3: Add chicken broth to the skillet and steam broccoli until tender.
- Step 4: Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese until a creamy sauce forms.
- Step 5: Return chicken to the skillet. Add cooked pasta and broccoli, tossing everything to coat evenly in the sauce.
- Step 6: Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, stir in red pepper flakes or substitute half the broccoli with spinach. This dish reheats well and can be made with leftover rotisserie chicken.
