  • 3 to 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can Unsalted Cream of Chicken Soup (10.5-oz)
  • 2 envelopes chicken gravy mix (0.87-oz each)
  • ½ cup water or chicken broth optional
  • hot steamed rice

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Place boneless skinless chicken breasts in the slow cooker; season with salt and pepper if desired.
  2. Whisk together cream of chicken soup, gravy mix, and optional water or broth. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and tender.
  4. Prior to serving, break the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Serve the chicken and gravy warm over hot steamed rice.

Notes

Season the chicken with salt and pepper to taste before cooking. This comforting dish is best served immediately over hot steamed rice.
