Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of your choice
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method

  1. Step 1: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Step 2: Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Step 3: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. Step 4: In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Step 5: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer for about 3 minutes.
  6. Step 6: Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy. Add red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to taste.
  7. Step 7: Add the cooked chicken and drained pasta to the skillet. Toss to coat everything evenly in the creamy garlic butter sauce.
  8. Step 8: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a squeeze of lemon juice or a sprinkle of crushed chili flakes before serving. You can also substitute half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
