Ingredients
Method
- Step 1: Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until they turn into fine crumbs.
- Step 2: In a mixing bowl, combine the cookie crumbs with softened cream cheese. Mix until well-blended and smooth.
- Step 3: Scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls, then shape slightly to resemble ghost figures.
- Step 4: Place the shaped truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill for about 15 minutes.
- Step 5: Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20–30 second bursts, stirring between each interval until smooth.
- Step 6: Dip each ghost truffle into the melted white chocolate, coating completely. Let the excess drip off before placing them back on the parchment paper.
- Step 7: Before the coating sets, decorate each truffle with sprinkles or edible eyes to give them a spooky ghost look.
- Step 8: Allow the truffles to set at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate hardens. Enjoy your no-bake Halloween treats!
Notes
For best results, keep the truffles refrigerated until ready to serve. You can also freeze them for up to 1 month. To make dairy-free, use vegan cream cheese and dairy-free white chocolate. Decorate creatively with dark chocolate drizzle or colored candy melts for a unique ghostly effect.
