- 5. Add topping: Sprinkle bread crumbs evenly over the top for a crispy golden crust.
- 6. Bake: Place uncovered in the preheated oven and bake for about 1 hour, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbling.
- 7. Serve: Allow the casserole to cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
