Method
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar and granulated sugar. Stir until boiling, then let boil for 3 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and carefully stir in vanilla extract.
- Place pretzel sticks in a large bowl and pour caramel mixture over top. Stir gently to coat.
- Spread caramel-coated pretzels evenly onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Melt chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Drizzle melted chocolate over the pretzels.
- Sprinkle sea salt over the chocolate before it sets.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until firm.
- Break into pieces and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding chopped nuts, toffee bits, or a swirl of white chocolate on top.
