- Scrub sweet potatoes, prick with a fork, and bake at 425°F for 40–50 minutes until tender.
- Cool slightly, peel sweet potatoes, and reduce oven temperature to 350°F.
- Mix mashed sweet potatoes, milk, eggs, sugar, melted butter, salt, vanilla, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Spread the mixture evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, and pecans. Add softened butter and mix until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the streusel topping evenly over the sweet potato filling.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until golden and set. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
