- Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
- In a bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers and melted butter; set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix together the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, green onions, slivered almonds, and crumbled bacon until well combined.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the buttery Ritz cracker crumbs over the casserole.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbling, then cool for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with extra bacon, sliced green onions, or fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
You can prepare the chicken and bacon ahead of time to save on prep. For extra crunch, add more crumbled bacon to the top before serving.
