Ingredients
Method
- Step 1: Cook the fries according to package instructions, or bake homemade fries at 425°F (220°C) for 30–35 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Step 2: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken fillets with salt and pepper, then cook for 6–7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Step 3: In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Step 4: Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2–3 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
- Step 5: Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over it, and let simmer for 2–3 more minutes.
- Step 6: Serve the chicken with fries, drizzling extra sauce over the top and garnishing with chopped parsley.
Notes
For extra heat, increase the red pepper flakes or add a dash of cayenne. To lighten the dish, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream. This sauce also pairs beautifully with pasta or steamed vegetables.
