- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, combine mashed bananas, melted vegan butter, maple syrup, almond milk, and vanilla extract. Stir well.
- Step 3: Add baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, flour, and oats. Stir until just combined—do not overmix.
- Step 4: Pour half the batter into the loaf pan.
- Step 5: Mix melted vegan butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon for the swirl. Spread half over the batter in the pan.
- Step 6: Add the remaining batter, then top with the rest of the cinnamon swirl mixture. Use a knife to gently swirl it into the batter.
- Step 7: Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the bread to cool completely.
- Step 8: For the frosting, whisk together powdered sugar, melted vegan butter, and softened vegan cream cheese until smooth. Spread over the cooled bread.
- Step 9: Slice and enjoy warm or at room temperature!
Notes
This banana bread keeps well covered at room temperature for 2 days or refrigerated for up to 5 days. For extra decadence, drizzle additional frosting right before serving.
