Preparation
- In a large bowl, measure out the Rice Chex and set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the peanut butter and white chocolate chips. Microwave for 30-60 seconds, stirring until smooth.
- If using, add the green food coloring to the mixture and stir well.
- Pour the melted mixture over the Rice Chex and gently mix until all pieces are coated.
- In a large zip-top bag, add the powdered sugar and crushed pistachios.
- Add the coated Rice Chex to the bag, seal it, and shake until well coated.
- Spread the puppy chow on a baking sheet to cool before serving.
Notes
Keep in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-5 days. For longer storage, freeze in a sealed bag for up to 1 month. Thaw before serving.
